APS6 Senior Complaints Officer

Duties and responsibilities:

• Use a range of techniques to resolve complaints, such as investigation, conciliation or service provider resolution
• Managing calls and managing difficult conversations while identifying, escalating and managing risks
• Accurately recording information including, preparing detailed reports, correspondence and recommendations
• Effectively managing individual caseloads while contributing to the overall objectives and outcomes of your team
• Other related/connected duties as required
• Complete all required mandatory training programs as required

About you:

• Demonstrated experience in complaints handling, dispute resolution, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to apply legislation and make impartial recommendations based on evidence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Eligibility requirements:

• Australian citizenship (mandatory)
• Seasonal Influenza Vaccination
• Vaccination against COVID-19 (two vaccinations and one booster)
• Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Records Check prior to commencement of employment
