Our federal government client is seeking a candidate to join a team specializing in Financial Governance and Procurement. As an APS6 Senior Financial Governance Adviser or EL1 Assistant Director, Financial Governance, you would be collaborating closely with legal and finance sections to deliver expert financial advice. 
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Financial Governance expertise and advice to business areas to ensure compliance with legislative requirements
• Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor and respond to helpdesk enquiries
• Review, investigate and report non‐compliance with Finance Law
• Coordinate reporting on relevant frameworks and prepare briefs, minutes and papers

Ideally you will have:

• In-depth understanding of Financial Governance and Management Frameworks
• Proficient analysis of continuous improvement and process issues, with effective communication skills and working knowledge of SAP
