The Opportunity
This is a rare labour hire contract opportunity within a small and friendly team. It is an initial 12-month role at the APS6 level, with the potential for extension or permanent placement thereafter.
The Role
Key roles and responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of financial reporting and annual financial statements
- Preparing monthly accounts and briefings for the CFO
- Performing bookkeeping tasks and compliance reporting
- Processing monthly journals, adjustments, and reconciliations
- Reviewing GST, BAS, and annual FBT
You are an experienced Financial Accountant with a high attention to detail and excellent analytical skills who enjoys the challenge of meeting reporting requirements within specified timeframes.
Ideally, you will come from one of three backgrounds:
- Experience in the Big 4 or other consulting firms at the Senior Associate level or above
- Previously worked for or currently working for the government at the APS6 or equivalent level
- Experience working for a large non-for-profit organisation or a big commercial organisation

Salary / Rate
$60 - $75/hour + Super
