Salary: $91,944 to $104,393 + super
Location: TasmaniaAbout the role:The Senior Leasing Officer is responsible for assisting to deliver property acquisition, management and disposal from a leasing perspective, including the development and implementation of the property strategies to drive sustainable commercial outcomes and contribute to the longer-term portfolio asset planning and governance. This role would suite someone with skills and recent relevant experience in commercial leasing and/or contract management.Key duties
- Support the department’s property strategy, including leases, acquisitions, and disposals.
- Assist in negotiating leases and managing property transactions.
- Develop leasing strategies to optimise assets and reduce costs.
- Prepare reports and briefs for property-related decisions.
- Maintain leasing data for portfolio management and compliance.
- Contribute to developing frameworks and policies for Property and Security Branch.
- Identify and implement improvements in business practices.
- The Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, and associated rules.
- The Commonwealth Property Management Framework.
- Can operate under limited direction, with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability.
- Provides accurate advice including anticipating problems and contributing to issues management.
- Coordinates work, manages competing priorities and prioritises tasks to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills.
