Don't miss this opportunity! Be part of a high performing team working for one of Australia's largest aquaculture and prawn farming operations based in Exmouth Western Australia as a Full Time PermanentAquaculture Attendant.

Reporting to the Founder stock Facility Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking aquaculture related tasks, specifically in relation to the culture of prawns, within a biosecure environment at our Founder Stock Facility.

The responsibilities of this role are varied, covering all aspects of prawn aquaculture including but not limited to:

  • Workplace Health & Safety;
  • Tank preparation;
  • Stocking;
  • Feeding;
  • Production;
  • Environmental and water quality management;
  • Implementation and enforcement of biosecurity, hygiene and sanitation protocols;
  • Data and sample collection, recording and analysis.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Experience &/or an Aquaculture qualification will be highly regarded but not essential - on the job training will be provided;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment;
  • Proactive, professional individual who has a focus on quality and attention to detail;
  • Organisational and time management skills in order to manage multiple tasks at any one time, as well as support others in meeting agreed deliverables;
  • Capable of written and verbal communication skills (English);
    Current and valid driver licence.
