Murphy's Tree & Stump Service are a reputable tree company based on the outskirts of Maitland and servicing the Hunter Valley and surrounding LGA's. We are looking for more employees to expand our ever-growing team.
Job roles available:
Casual groundsman (Guaranteed 3 days per week plus fill in when required)
Qualifications & experience
- Good physical strength, fitness, vision and hearing
- The ability to transport heavy items
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable and motivated
- The willingness to work during unfavourable weather conditions
- Previous work experience as a tree Ground Worker (preferred)
- Driver's License (manual preferred)
- MR License (preferred)
- White Card (preferred)
- Chainsaw ticket (preferred)
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assisting arborists and other Ground Workers with tree removals, pruning and debris disposal
- Safely using tools and equipment; wood chipper, chainsaws, skid steer, stump grinder (Training will be provided)
- Ensuring sites are kept clean and free of hazards
- Inspecting equipment and tools and performing maintenance when required
- Understanding and carrying out all verbal and written instructions
- Using the appropriate gear and observing safety protocols
- Reporting any issues or safety hazards to site supervisor
- Adhering to company and environmental regulations at all times
