Arborist / Tree Worker

What is the role?

The key responsibility of this role is to maintain the safe and efficient upkeep of trees within the streets and parks that shape the City of Sydney’s canopy. You will be working on a long-term contract of Active’s, working outdoors in a small team with good work ethic, using well-maintained equipment and state of the art technology.

You will rotate throughout the week between duties such as:

• Proactive tree maintenance
• Tree removals
• Reactive pruning works
• Emergency response
• Pest and Disease treatment

Do you have?

• A current drivers’ licence 
• White card
• Certificate III in Arboriculture or Horticulture (however AQF2, or persons currently enrolled in either qualification will be considered)  
• The ability to work safely

Great, but not essential:

• EWP Licence
• MR Licence
• First aid/CPR
• MR/HR Truck Licence
