Working in the most prestegious trees in Canberra. From tree selection and planting to delivering scheduled maintenance and reactive requests, Citywide maximises the life of trees and parklands. You will be joining a close team that undertakes the full scope of tree maintenance services including audits, pruning, tree removal, travel tower work (EWP), chipper operation and stump removal.
What you will do:
- Pruning, removal of trees, tree climbing and stump grinding (where required).
- Performing all aspects of tree maintenance/replacement works as required.
- Driving and maintaining heavy equipment in a safe and professional manner (trailer mounted machine, light trucks, tip-truck).
- Ensuring work area is safe for you, your team and member.
About you:
- Certificate III in Arboriculture.
- Current MR licence (Desirable).
- Ability to work safely & promote safety in the workplace.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Experience dealing with customers, clients and members of the general public.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem solving skills .
