About the RoleWe are seeking responsible and caring Trainee Patient Transport Officers, Patient Transport Officers and Ambulance Attendants to join our team in both Southern Sydney and Western Sydney areas, working from our current branches in Taren Point and St Marys on a casual basis. Candidates must be able to work across a variety of shifts including day and afternoon shifts.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Primary care, clinical monitoring and patient care;
- Providing clinical handovers for all transfers;
- Delivery of high quality patient care in a timely, safe and efficient manner;
- Complying with clinical and operational policies and procedures as specified in Patient Transport specifications and policies;
- Excellent customer service;
- Safe driving of Patient Transport vehicles in accordance with respective road laws across NSW.
Qualifications, knowledge & Experience Requirements
- Qualifications in Patient Transport or healthcare for role applying: Trainee Patient Transport Officer (First Aid Certificate), Patient Transport Officer (Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport), Ambulance Attendant (Diploma or Bachelor level studies in pre-hospital care, nursing, or paramedical science).
- Recent healthcare experience highly regarded.
- Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain prior to commencement)
- Current unrestricted driver's license
- Ability to work professionally as part of a team, providing high standards of patient care with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
