About the role
Arkular is currently seeking an experienced, Architect or Graduate of Architecture. This role will have you jumping headfirst into new and innovative projects that are extraordinarily progressive and exciting while ensuring the client's experience is exceptional. This is an exciting opportunity for an Architect who is looking to experience Modular Architecture and has had industry experience in supporting, documenting, and delivering exceptional projects.
The role will give you the opportunity of learning and collaborating with some of the industry’s most competent individuals whilst actively participating in our expansion into Tasmania.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of concept design.
- Prepare and lodge accurate and timely town planning packages
- Complete accurate and timely architectural drawing packages for contracts
- Engage and coordinate required consultants, including planning, engineer and sustainability consultants
- Coordinate projects in all stages from concept through to construction administration
- Work collaboratively within the Studio and have direct impact into the functionality of its operations
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD
- Broad documentation knowledge across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects
- Experience in coordinating consultants & authorities
- Experience and understanding of Australian Standards, NCC and necessary requirements for safety, health & amenity and sustainability in the design & construction of new buildings
- The ability of working both autonomously and within a team environment
- A desire to make a difference in the Architectural Industry
