AddressWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated full time Architectural Draftsperson to join our team at Icon Metal Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will play a key role in our projects to produce accurate and detailed architectural drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to translate design concepts into technical drawings and specifications.
- Prepare drawings for fabrication and construction, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and project requirements.
- Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
- Coordinate with project managers and production teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings and documentation.
- Conduct site visits and surveys as required to gather information and verify measurements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of drafting standards, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Relevant Diploma Qualification
- Minimum 2 years relevant experiences
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other drafting tools.
- Strong understanding of architectural and construction principles, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in architectural drafting or metal fabrication industry preferred but not essential.
Salary: 90K – 93K plus Super
