- Provide assistance to company construction managers, architects and surveyors in planning and organisation;
- Interpret construction plans, applicable regulations and building codes of practice;
- Prepare preliminary draft and sketches, ongoing project work drawings and specifications drafts;
- Prepare, edit and revise construction plans, site maps, project charts and other drawings;
- Coordinate construction works programs with construction managers, civil engineers and other professionals;
- Inspect project documentation and other working documents and materials for compliance with project specifications, New South Wales regulatory frameworks and industry standards;
- Calculate costs and estimating time scales for corporate construction projects;
- Collect appropriate data utilising surveying instruments and digital photogrammetric equipment;
- Plot preliminary data and perform computations of construction data at relevant intervals.
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or higher qualification, or alternatively, three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications (with overseas obtained qualifications being considered where the qualification is assessed as suitable);
- Two years of relevant work experience or three years where applicant relies on work experience in lieu of formal qualifications;
- Proficiency in the English language;
- Excellent communication – both written and verbal;
- Strong understanding of workplace WHS procedures.
