Architectural Draftsperson (Full-time)

We offer architecture and interior design services across a large range of projects including single luxury house design, townhouses, multi townhouse projects, and mid-level multi-development projects.

- Have 2+ years of relevant experience will be highly preferred.
- At least a degree qualification in architecture.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fantastic communication skills.
- Proficient skills in drafting and creating architechural designs.
- Knowledge of the national construction codes and regulations.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Draftperson to assist in transforming project concepts into practical architectural designs. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of professionals to develop, document, and ensure compliance with all planning and building standards, while also focusing on sustainability and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other consultants to finalize architectural designs, preparing detailed drawings, 3D models, and comprehensive documentation within realistic timeframes.
- Analyze project development options and apply planning principles and statutory requirements to site and conceptual design.
- Interpret and apply relevant building codes, standards, technical specifications, guidelines, and planning regulations to ensure compliance and achieve optimal design solutions.
- Conduct routine site inspections to verify compliance with specifications and standards, ensuring quality and consistency in project execution.
- Foster clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, construction managers, and contractors, coordinating effectively to facilitate project planning and execution.
- Utilize practice methods and quality assurance systems within an ethical practice management framework to deliver architectural services efficiently and consistently.
- Evaluate environmental sustainability considerations, community impact, stakeholder interests, and project costs to develop well-rounded architectural solutions.
- Identify, analyze, and assess client needs and project objectives using qualitative and quantitative methods to support project feasibility and viability assessments.

Remuneration: $70,000 - $85,000 per annum (plus 11% superannuation)
