We are in search of Architectural Draftspersons with proven experience in Commercial, Retail, Industrial or Architectural spaces to join our team. We have three offices; Our primary office located in PERTH, WA, and our subsidiary offices in Victoria & New South Wales. Due to rapid growth & demand we are looking to set up a QLD based office. This position will operate from a co-working space / Work from Home for the first 3 months while we look to recruit the “Dream Team” in QLD.
The ideal candidate will have a proven history of producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Revit and having worked on projects within the supermarket space will be highly advantageous. To set RASP Australia aside we offer a unique 3D experience to our clients, capturing spaces using Matterport technology.
This immersive and interactive experience can be used for documentation and management. Including tools such as measurements and the ability to export to CAD / BIM programs such as AutoCAD & Revit.
If you have a willingness to learn, we would love you to come along for the ride and take part in the whole experience for our clients – from Matterport Scanning, creating as built’ s, Concept Plans all the way through to the drafting of construction documents. Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain accurate drawings using Revit
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure project accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Ensure timely delivery of project documentation Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Revit Draftsperson in the Commercial Buildings and / Or Industrial space.
- Strong knowledge of Revit software and BIM processes
- Proven ability to produce detailed Industrial drawings
- Knowledge of NC Codes (National Construction Codes) and AS Standards
- Basic knowledge in Council Requirements / R Codes
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication / teamwork skills
- The Ability & Willingness to Travel through QLD & interstate on Short 1-3 Day trip to complete on-site visits for our clients.
- Knowledge of how Matterport works or the willingness to learn.

The Ideal Candidate will have at least of the below Qualifications.
- Diploma in Building Design (Minimum Requirement)
- Experience using a Matterport Scanner (Advantageous)
- Master of Architecture (Advantageous)
