About the Role
This position is under the supervision of a Senior Architect. You will bring excellence, innovation and growth to the team.
The role will include:
- Design and documentation of commercial projects in Revit
- Preparing concept design drawings through to detailed working drawings
- The selection of finishes and fixtures
- You will also be involved in the project management of projects, including from inception to completion. This includes design, development applications, tendering/engagement of builders, etc.
- Contract administration of projects
- Budgeting and time management for projects
- Working within in a medium but collaborative team environment
- Being responsible for your projects - liaising with town planners, consultants and building contractors to ensure a successful design outcome
- We continue training and development of staff and so will ensure you are always learning
About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Relevant Australian Architectural Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in an Australian Architectural office
- A strong technical understanding of Revit
- Ability to produce high quality working drawings with accuracy and clarity
- Good understanding of the current BCA/NCC as well as relevant Australian Standards and Legislation
- Demonstrated experience in the design & delivery of a variety of projects
- Good people skills
- High level of organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to deliver a project from concept to handover
Salary package will be negotiated with the successful candidate commensurate with the level of experience.
