The Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Architectural Sales professional working remotely in Sydney to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales and building strong relationships within the architectural community and façade industry.

  • Façade Sales and Specification: Promote and sell our range of high-quality façade and cladding products to architects, designers, builders, and developers.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with architectural clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Installer and Façade Engineering Relationships: Develop and maintain partnerships with installers and façade engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Interstate Travel: Based in Sydney working remotely, covering NSW/ACT/QLD (with an estimated one week per month of travel).
  • Follow-Up Quotes: Proactively follow up on quotes via phone and email to secure sales and address client inquiries.
  • Website Enquiries: Respond to and manage website enquiries related to Façade Products, providing excellent customer service.
  • CRM Management: Keep the Pipedrive (CRM) profile and sales forecast up to date, ensuring accurate tracking of sales activities and opportunities.
  • Sample Library Maintenance: Manage and maintain the sample library from local and international suppliers, ensuring it is current and comprehensive.
  • Architectural Presentations: Schedule and conduct weekly architectural presentations to showcase our products and develop new business opportunities.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and increase market share.
  • Weekly Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, client interactions, and market trends to the management team.

Skills and Experience Needed

We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in Architectural Sales, preferably within the façade and cladding industry.
  • Degree within the Architectural / Building / Engineering fields advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of architectural specifications and the construction process.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Pipedrive experience is a plus).
  • Ability to travel as required within the territory area.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Remote work capability with a dedicated home office.
