The Opportunity
As an Area Manager, you will:
- Develop and maintain key relationships with new and existing clients.
- Identify new opportunities for tipping solutions and materials management.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and market dynamics.
- Engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide innovative solutions.
- Represent Lantrak within your territory, becoming the go-to expert for regional insights.
- Communicate effectively with clients and manage a high volume of interactions.
- Collaborate with all business units and report directly to the General Manager.
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience in construction, earthmoving, or the building industry (preferred but not essential).
- Strong knowledge of materials (dirt) and wet plant hire (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to think laterally and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a solutions-based outlook.
- Initiative, resilience, and strong communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of CRMs and Microsoft Office products.
- In-depth knowledge of the south-east suburbs.
- Experience in territory management and logistics is highly favourable.
