We have a rare opportunity for an experienced senior manager for a minimum 6 month full time contract (parental leave cover) to lead our South East Sydney team. Traveling between and supporting our Teams in Miranda and Malabar will be required.
Key focus areas include
- Leading a transdisciplinary team to deliver the Early Childhood Approach in the South East Sydney service area
- Working strategically and collaboratively with other senior leaders and stakeholders to achieve OKRs (Objectives & Key Results)
- Producing reports and monitoring output and performance in line with funding compliance and Lifestart policies
- Ensuring the local workforce is supported and developing as a highly focused, effective and engaged team, reflecting our vision and values
- Keeping up to date on NDIS changes, our contractual and organisational requirements.
- Act ethically and with integrity in decision making and in resolving complex issues
- Demonstrated leadership and change management skills, including the ability to nurture, support and develop effective teams
- Well-developed understanding of the NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme and the Early Childhood Approach, Disability Services Standards, Children’s Disability Standards and Child Protection / Keeping Them Safe legislation
- Broad experience / knowledge of working with children and families, preferably within early childhood intervention
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to liaise with and build collaborative positive working relationships with management, peers and team members
- Very high attention to detail, and understanding the importance of accuracy
- Current driver’s licence and use of own car
- Working with Children's clearance
- NDIS Worker Check clearance
- Full COVID-19 vaccination (including booster) or eligible medical exemption
