Job R esponsibilities:
- Pro-actively build and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing customers operating within your territory, driving new business and growth
- Develop and grow relationships with business decision makers, influencers and other stakeholders that influence the purchase of the Company products including the onshore and offshore oil and gas process markets, mining, industrial and commercial segments, machine automation solutions; to achieve the territories sales and bookings target each financial year striving towards the business 5-year plan
- Provide high level customer service including conducting and assisting with product demonstrations, presentations, training, and road shows/exhibitions
- Respond to enquiries and provide technical support
- Work with the customer service team to provide quotations for solutions
- Take ownership of the assigned bookings and sales budget
- Provide a pro-active approach by understanding customer needs and “pains”
- Ensure there is a strong awareness of Emerson capabilities within the market and the local support available to our customers
- Implement sales and marketing plans and strategies for your territory
- Review, evaluate, and report on sales activities and initiatives
- Collaborate with Asia Pacific marketing and engineering teams to translate customers’ application needs into product requirements to seize application opportunities ensuring one message communicated to market
- Submit sales call plan and sales call reports on a timely basis
- Prepare customer activity reports including all key relevant sales metrics for your responsible territory including actual sales, sales, forecast, new accounts, and prospective business.
- Update sales territories’ quote portfolio
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant education qualifications
- Demonstrate B2B sales experience with mechanical products in the mining, oil and gas, power, and machine automation industries
- Self-motivated and autonomous and be able to set your schedule to effectively meet sales targets
- Possess experience and understanding of sales budgeting and forecasting process, and financial reporting
- Driver’s license and possess own transport
- 1 – 3 years previous experience in a similar role
- Proficient use of IT and systems to support daily work.
