Aruba Network Engineer

A trusted and respected IT services provider based at Sydney Norwest (the Hills district / Bella Vista) location is currently looking for an experienced Aruba Engineer with technical expertise and the ability to design, implement and support network solutions across the education, government and corporate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide design, implementation and provisioning of network solutions to mid-large corporate customers.
• Implementation, configuration and management of Aruba, Cisco and Palo Alto products.
• Experienced with Aruba Central and Clearpass. 
• Implement and maintain network devices, LAN, WAN, Security Devices and telecom services.
• Implement and maintain Routers, Switches, WAN optimizers.
• Improve the reliability, performance & capability of the enterprise network.
• Provide configuration and troubleshooting support for the Network Team.
• Producing part or all of the technical solution for the account/client, in accordance with an agreed technical design.
• Make sure that the project deliverable is completed accurately and on time.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ year's experience working within the IT Service Provider / Mid-Large corporate / IP network communications environments.
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or other relevant industry qualifications.
• Experience with LAN/WAN/VLAN technologies, management and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls (Design, Build and Support).
• Knowledge of Aruba wireless/switches.
• Knowledge of Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless AP and Controllers, Load balancers, WAN accelerators, Content filters.
• Knowledge of IP security implementation, multi-vendor IPS, URL filtering.
• Knowledge of MPLS, BGP & Internet Exchange Peering.
• Certifications in either Aruba / Cisco / Palo Alto.
