AddressAn iconic Financial Services provider is seeking a Senior Network Automation Engineer with advanced Python scripting skills combined with strong knowledge of F5 load-balancers to join their team on a permanent basis.
Joining a dynamic, high-performing team, you will lead the team's Network Automation efforts specifically on their fleet of F5 devices, using Python to write playbooks and help automate bulk network modifications. Responsibilities will include leading automation activities and initiatives and configuring their orchestration platform (Terraform, Jenkins).
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications
- Proven Network Automation experience gained within large, enterprise environments
- Advanced Python scripting skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in the support, configuration and deployment of F5 devices
- Proven experience in the design and architecture of automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket etc as well as Cisco automation tools such as DevNet
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and tools including Linux, Docker, Kubernetes
- Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work independently as required
