ASO2 Level Carer Payments Officer

We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Carer Payments Officer. This temporary position, with a potential start date of 27th February 2024, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of the State-wide Out of Home Care System. As a Carer Payments Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring quality standards are maintained in relation to placements and Carer Support Payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient administrative, data processing, and information support services.
• Focus on maintaining quality standards in placements and Carer Support Payments across the State-wide Out of Home Care System.
• Undertake quality checking, recording, and verifying placement information.
• Maintain accurate records and notes on the Connected Client and Case Management System (C3MS) to facilitate timely Carer Support Payments Statewide.
• Provide financial services and support to contribute to the effective operation of the Carers Payment program.
• Handle account and invoice payment and processing.

• High Level of Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
  
• Data Entry Proficiency: Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
  
• Time Management: Ability to prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines.
  
• Administrative Support: Experience in providing administrative support with a keen eye for detail.
  
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft applications such as MS Outlook, MS Excel, etc.
  
• Autonomous and Collaborative: Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  

Qualifications:

• Must have a current Working with Children Check.
