Deadline: 8 AM - Monday, 26 February 2024 We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Carer Payments Officer. This temporary position, with a potential start date of 27th February 2024, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of the State-wide Out of Home Care System. As a Carer Payments Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring quality standards are maintained in relation to placements and Carer Support Payments. Key Responsibilities:
Provide efficient administrative, data processing, and information support services.
Focus on maintaining quality standards in placements and Carer Support Payments across the State-wide Out of Home Care System.
Undertake quality checking, recording, and verifying placement information.
Maintain accurate records and notes on the Connected Client and Case Management System (C3MS) to facilitate timely Carer Support Payments Statewide.
Provide financial services and support to contribute to the effective operation of the Carers Payment program.
Handle account and invoice payment and processing.

High Level of Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
Data Entry Proficiency: Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
Time Management: Ability to prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines.
Administrative Support: Experience in providing administrative support with a keen eye for detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft applications such as MS Outlook, MS Excel, etc.
Autonomous and Collaborative: Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications:
Must have a current Working with Children Check.
