About the Position
The Manager, Spatial Analysis and Forecasting leads Spatial Analysis and Forecasting, supporting policy development and the delivery of high quality public education to every community in South Australia. Leading a high performing team, the Manager, Spatial Analysis and Forecasting will apply expertise across fields such as Spatial Analysis, demographic analysis, and data visualisation to deliver insights from data and build capability to analyse and learn from data across the organisation. The Manager, Spatial Analysis and Forecasting will maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across education and government agencies, keep informed about wider trends and emerging technologies, and maintain a focus on continuous improvement of our reporting, mapping and scenario analysis products.
Qualifications
Essential: A relevant tertiary qualification in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), geography, demography, or social sciences or equivalent extensive experience.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration

ASO8: $119,317 - $123,822 per annum plus superannuation
