About the Role
WorkPac are seeking a motivated Asphalt workers to join our clientâs team. As an Asphalt Worker, you will assist in laying asphalt and maintaining road surfaces. This position requires both day and night shifts starting between 6-6:30 AM, with shifts typically lasting 10-12 hours. On rare occasions, travel may be required to locations like Dubbo, Parkes, etc., with a $114 allowance plus accommodation provided when necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and laying asphalt surfaces.
Operate rollers and/or bobcats effectively and safely.
Perform manual labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, and compacting materials.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
Skills & Experience Required:
Australian driverâs licence
Prior experience in asphalt laying and road construction preferred.
Essential experience operating rollers and/or bobcats.
Ability to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts.
Physical fitness for manual labour tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
White Card and relevant certifications advantageous.
