Location: Mt Maunganui, Tauranga
Are you an experienced civil construction labourer with a knack for asphalt work? If yes, we want you to join our client, a Tier 1 major infrastructure company!
About the Role:
Join a close-knit team and work on exciting projects, pouring, smoothing, and setting asphalt for roads, runways, parking areas, and more!
Meet at the yard every morning before heading to job sites in our work vehicles. Occasional travel may be required for work. Don't worry, all travel and accommodation, along with a travel allowance, will be provided.
Skills and experience we seek:
- Digging, trenching, and backfilling
- General labouring (shovelling, stone breaking, picking)
- Site cleaning
- Assisting the screed operator
- Asphalting new roads and highways
- Road prep and remedial work (e.g., potholes)
- Surface prep using power tools such as jackhammers or blowtorches
- Civil construction or similar experience REQUIRED
- Class 1 license
- WTR endorsement (not required but highly advantageous)
- Physically fit and reliable
- Comfortable working under all weather conditions
- Willingness to work occasional weekend days when required
- Competitive salary

- Weekly pay with +8% holiday pay
