Assemblers / Production Workers

We are on the hunt for experienced Assemblers / Production Assistants / Factory Hands to join our client, an iconic Australian Doors and windows manufacturing business in Springvale. These positions will be on a full-time ongoing casual basis and include assembly and production of doors.

Working in a team, your other responsibilities will include:

• Processing materials and assembling components to required specifications and quality standards using a variety of hand tools, power tools and machinery.
• Operating and cleaning production machinery/equipment after use
• Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operating Manuals in an efficient manner
• Supporting team members to ensure production goals and deadlines are achieved
• Contributing to our culture of continuous improvement and safety

To be successful in this role, you will be expected to demonstrate:

• Mechanical aptitude and an ability to read basic assembly diagrams and cutting sheets, with strong attention to detail ensuring correct assembly, positions, and orientation.
• Current Driver's License and own reliable vehicle
• Previous experience working with hand and power tools in a similar role, or trades-assistant role operating production machinery will be advantageous.
• CNC or Metalwork experience will be looked upon favourably.
• Experience manufacturing doors, windows, or other trade qualified experience advantageous
