- Located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches (Dee Why / Cromer / Brookvale Area)
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and assembly line.
- Assembly operations (Process work) i.e.; screwing with electric screw drivers, bolting & attaching of components, bending and twisting.
- Use of air and hand tools and machines used for operation and assembly of components.
- Inspect products to ensure quality.
- Packing of items for shipping.
- Good communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Some lifting up to 5kg trays during the assembly process and able to push tubs of products weighting up to 20kg using trolleys.
- The ability to take direction, and working autonomously to ensure that orders are completed on time;
To be successful:
- Happy to be busy all day and work on repetitive tasks.
- Experience in manufacturing environment advantageous
- Experience in hand/power tools ideal (Training will be given)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The physical ability to stand or sit throughout your shift.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to meet deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable nature
- Team player attitude
- High attention to detail
- Basic Computer skills in Excel, Word & Office
- Desire to work overtime at short notice
- A solid work history and good tenure
- Proven Working Rights in Australia are essential as this role is a Temp to Permanent position
