Join our team as a Consumer Electronics Manufacturing Technician and contribute to the production of cutting-edge electronic devices, including smartphones, tablets, and computers. As a crucial member of our assembly line, you'll ensure the quality and functionality of our products through meticulous testing, inspection, and troubleshooting. LOCATION: Macquarie Park, NSW
PAY: $29.04 per hour Casual Rate
HOURS: 37.5 hrs per week
DAYS: Monday to Friday ( 5 days)
START TIMES: 9:45 am or 10:30 am
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform product testing, quality assurance checks, and diagnostic support for electronic products on the assembly line.
Maintain an efficient pace to meet production targets and uphold quality standards.
Conduct visual inspections to identify and report any defects or imperfections in finished products.
Diagnose and troubleshoot defective products, ensuring they meet high-quality standards through repair and testing.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce product failures.
Collaborate with team members to address line abnormalities and support short-term solutions for material defects.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area and handle small components with precision using hand tools.
Adapt to overtime work as needed to meet production demands and project deadlines.
Fulfill additional duties as assigned to support production operations effectively.
Training provided.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in I.T, computer or Consumer Electronics manufacturing industry (ideal but not mandatory)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform meticulous visual inspections.
Manual dexterity and precision for handling small components during Assembly Processes.
Basic electronics troubleshooting knowledge, particularly with smartphone devices, is advantageous.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to established guidelines and SOPs.
Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Flexibility to work overtime as required to support production schedules and project needs.
