Your new role
This organisation requires a capable and experienced Asset Accountant to assist in the following areas:
- Ensure the asset register is updated in a timely and accurate way
- Provide asset information for reports such as the financial statements, depreciation, asset management plans and insurance reports
- Be the primary contact for external stakeholders in regard to asset accounting matters
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate for this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Knowledge and experience applying accounting practices, procedures, and legislation
- Prior experience providing financial advice and support with asset accounting
- Ability to demonstrate strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Experience articulating complex financial data
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage confidential information
- Documentation to support the completion/commencement of professional qualifications such as CA or CPA and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar
