Fire/Electrical - Asset Improvement Coordinator - Ventia

You will be working alongside fantastic people and contributing to the growth of the company as well as growing your skills and experience as an Asset Improvement Coordinator for our Fire/Electrical Division working within the Bluescope Site in Port Kembla.
As the successful applicant, some of your core responsibilities will include:
- Manage the corrective and preventative maintenance tasks, develop and improve maintenance plans for agreed maintenance strategy and disseminate work instructions for maintenance tasks.
- Supervise and schedule safe resource maintenance execution using internal and external labour.
- Coordinate the budget of maintenance tasks in terms of planned versus actual allowance, including authorising and processing work payment.
- Review asset performance for maintenance equipment in the area, comparing with actual versus planned costs and conducting adequate spares cost management.
- Ensuring that the team objectives and activities are linked to and support Ventia's expected outcomes and BlueScope Steel's business outcomes within the department.
- Promoting and modelling the quality culture and continuous improvement by actively pursuing changes that can reduce cost and increase productivity, while improving quality and safety.
What you will need:
- Trade or Associate Diploma qualifications in an Electrical discipline
- Have or willing to obtain Fire Systems training/licenses
- Ability to read Electrical prints
- Fault finding and diagnosis skills
- Excellent client-facing skills, along with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
