MODEC Management Services (MMS) are seeking a suitably qualified candidate for an Asset Integrity Engineer. The role is based in MODEC’s Perth Office, Western Australia, however travel to remote offshore facilities and international office locations may frequently be required.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Life Extension Assessments: perform remaining life assessments and support life extension decision making processes for aging assets.
- Integrity Repairs: review integrity anomalies and provide recommendations for ongoing inspections and repair activities.
- Integrity Management Systems: ensure inspection data is appropriately maintained within the Asset Integrity Management Systems.
- Support: provide guidance to the offshore inspection and maintenance personnel when required.
- Planning: ensure the Onshore Asset Management Team are aware of the necessary resources required for all planned integrity works, including major shutdown/turnaround campaigns, giving estimates of required resources when necessary.
- Coordination: act as a point of contact and liaison between offshore operations, 3rd party inspection/integrity contractors, and onshore facility management teams.
- Execution: ensure all inspection reports are fully reviewed and approved for accuracy and clarity and track progress of inspections against integrity management plans, ensuring information is accessible.
- Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities for improvement and be responsible for implementation following agreement with Onshore and Offshore Teams.
- International Team: working with an international team with the opportunity to travel to site.
Key Experience:
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Well versed within the offshore oil and gas industry specifically relating to pressure systems and structural integrity management.
- Extensive experience in the areas of corrosion, inspection and integrity management within the hydrocarbon industry.
- Competent in Asset Integrity management systems.
- Conversant in API RP580/581 and knowledge of legislation, guidance, and regulations.
- Knowledge of Non-Intrusive Inspection techniques and applications.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, ranging from sharing ideas and feedback, to working autonomously or in support of colleagues.
Key Qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification (Bachelor Degree or higher) in Engineering.
- Full work rights in Australia
- Reside in WA
