Our client, a local government organisation based in the Darwin area, is recruiting an Asset Management Officer to join their team in Darwin.
Your new role
You will be responsible for developing and implementing the organization’s Asset Management plans, maintenance schedules and site audits across the organization’s region. Assets will involve a wide range of buildings and equipment. This is a full-time permanent role based in Darwin with regular travel to sites involved.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Develop Asset Management plans and maintenance schedules across the organization’s region.
Manage the delivery of small-scale maintenance projects.
Coordinate the execution of asset revaluations.
Assist with the procurement of new assets including risk management and insurance benchmarking activities.
Coordinate the execution of site audits across the organization’s region.
Ensure that all Asset Management issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.
Ensure accurate data entry and undertake data analysis to assist in the preparation of reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience in an Asset Management role.
A Diploma in Asset Management or other relevant qualifications (desirable).
Previous experience in developing Asset Management plans and maintenance schedules.
High-level of communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
High-level of use in Microsoft Office software applications and Asset Management systems.
