Centre for Appropriate Technology Ltd (CfAT) is an Aboriginal owned and operated company based in Central Australia, in the Northern Territory. CfAT acknowledges the significance to Aboriginal people of maintaining their relationship with country and provides services and support people to maintain their livelihoods on remote communities by assisting with training, project management, and infrastructure.
We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated Asset and Maintenance Manager to join our company, with a passion for living and working in remote areas, while assisting Aboriginal people to maintain their connection to country including living, visiting, protecting, and developing country for economic and cultural purposes.
Your primary responsibilities will include providing effective and efficient asset and maintenance management to Desert Peoples Centre and CfAT properties located at Desert Knowledge Precinct and within the Alice Springs town area. This will include managing a growing facilities team to undertake various asset and maintenance contracts, facilitating appropriate training and development of staff, and developing and coordinating business activities for the facilities unit.
It is essential that you have excellent proficiency in time management and relationship building.
Salary will be based on qualifications, demonstrated skills sets and abilities to carry out all duties as required
