We are currently seeking an Asset Manager to join our Honeywell Building technologies team – to be based out of our site office in Murdoch, WA.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for preparing, planning, executing, and controlling all aspects of the project either directly or through delegation with the project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality, schedule, and budget
- Maintain up to date Lifecycle forecast for nominated sites
- Ensures delivery of projects on time, within scope with no negative deviation.
- Manage the contractual requirements of the project to ensure Honeywell’s exposure is minimised and controlled through timely responses and internal escalation.
- Manage project contracts including development of contracts/scopes of work, valuing/certifying payments, valuing variations, accepting finished works, and resolving and negotiating disputes with subcontractors and clients.
- Produce and maintain appropriate project management documentation including project plan, communication plan, project reports, implementation plans, project schedules and meeting agendas/minutes.
- Maintain accurate financial forecasts, estimates to complete, schedules, JML, and labour profiles
- Control cost and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods, standard processes, and engagement of Supply Chain team.
- Ensure subcontractors are on a Health & Safety Plan and that it is reviewed and updated on a regular basis.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- BSc, Eng. or project management degree or equivalent technical or management experience required
- Direct Project Management history of +$3M projects
- Thorough knowledge of leading and developing a projects field operation and financial management
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others
- Proven experience in project management including budget ownership/management, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting, and planning.
- Proven ability to develop and lead a team.
- Capacity to deliver against multiple objectives.
- Strong customer relation skills with total commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Project Management Qualifications desirable
- Excellent computer, written and oral communication and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of business, technology, and external environment.
