About this role

We are looking for an experienced Assets Systems Coordinator to join our growing Group Assets Team based at our Head Office in Port Adelaide.

Role Overview

The Assets Systems Coordinator works  with a team of engineering professionals and plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our Capital Investment Plan and facilitates the effective coordination and communication between team members, departments, and internal and external stakeholders. The Project Coordinator supports both the engineering and project execution teams in effectively managing our asset information systems, quality assurance and monitoring, tracking and reporting against our capital plan (portfolio) performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating, maintaining and coordinating project team related activities, ensuring all tasks are appropriately sequenced and deadlines are met;
  • Update project tracking tools and systems to reflect accurate project status and milestones achieved;
  • Support the implementation, maintenance and development of our asset information system;
  • Preparation of regular progress reports for the project team leadership, highlighting accomplishments, challenges, risks and areas requiring attention;
  • Support capital delivery team in ensuring that project activities adhere to quality standards as well as safety and project related protocols; and
  • Support with internal and external stakeholder engagement and management and foster a collaborative culture.

About you

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a high paced environment.

In addition your skills and experience will include;

  • Diploma in Project Management or equivalent level of skills and knowledge gained through experience;
  • Previous project experience in a complex project environment;
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks;
  • Ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Camms and Maximo software system or equivalent systems (desirable);
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
