About the Role:
The Capacity Building Project Officer will have experience leading projects, engaging with stakeholders and completing audits and reviews of policies, procedures and practices at an organisational level. Knowledge and experience working within the RTO or education sector will be highly regarded.
Key functions of this role include:
Developing and sustaining partnerships with RTOs and employers of apprentices and trainees
Complete audit/review of policies, practices and systems which relate to the scope of the project
Complete activities which build skills and capability within RTOs and respond to the gaps identified
Work with a team of Sonder education facilitators to organise and deliver education workshops
Experience Requirements:
Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.
Experience working within the RTO/education sector
Demonstrated experience coordinating projects and events
Experience with Quality Management Systems and completing audits or reviews of policies, procedures and/or systems
Experience in the use of client management databases, Sharepoint, Microsoft applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience working with people with diverse learning needs, including people with mental health challenges, culturally and linguistically diverse groups and people who identify as LGBTQIA+
Knowledge of the RTO sector
Knowledge and experience in using the Microsoft suite of software and databases.
Knowledge of the challenges and barriers experienced by diverse learners when engaging in training and learning environments
Qualification and Other Requirements:
- Drivers Licence
- Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
- A tertiary qualification relevant to the scope and content of the job
- Current National Police Check
- Current Child Safe Environments
