About the role

This role offers the ability to work from Perth in Western Australia, with the flexibility to work fully remote or come into the office a couple of days a week.
This role will be full time, 38 hours per week.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for assisting with various financial tasks including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and budgeting, to support the overall financial management of the organisation.
Other responsibilities include:
- Maintain fixed assets register
- Completion of various month end tasks such as journal posting
- Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Support with internal and external audit
- Any ad hoc tasks
The salary for this role is $70,000+ 11% super.
Skills & experience
- Experience with accounting software such as Pronto, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Strange attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to prioritise tasks.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field is typically required.
