About the opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager, and working alongside key departmental managers, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial viability and the strategic journey of the park.
Utilising your excellent attention to detail, you will be responsible for auditing inventory, wristband sales and guest recovery transactions and presenting findings. You will be responsible for month end journals, and producing financial and statutory reports.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- End-to-end accounts payable
- Prepare revenue reports and financial board packs
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Review and analyse P&L reports
- Debtor management
- Maintain supplier ledgers and investigate changes
- Manage and reconcile company credit cards and petty cash
- Assist with end-to-end payroll including statutory requirements
- Develop and maintain Business Intelligence Tools to ensure informed decision making
- Review, audit, and improve internal processes
- Ad-hoc duties
The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of accounting functions and a keen eye for detail, ensuring any variances are investigated to a resolution.
