We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Branch Manager to join our Bathurst team and help us continue to provide top-notch service.
Position Overview: As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Branch Manager with the daily operations of our Bathurst branch. This includes entering quotes and orders, liaising with our manufacturing team on lead times, and ensuring our customers receive the best service possible. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
- Enter quotes and orders accurately into our system.
- Liaise with the manufacturing team to confirm lead times and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Support inventory management and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Help to manage and train branch staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and branch goals.
- Maintain a high standard of workplace health and safety.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the fencing, construction, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and order management. Harmoniq experience highly regarded
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in business management or a related field is a plus.
