About your role
  
Real Pet Food (RPF) is on the hunt for an Assistant Brand Manager who's a real animal lover and ready to join our pack. We're one of Australia's fastest-growing companies in the pet industry and we're looking for someone who's not afraid to take a walk on the wild side. 
  
You will be responsible for supporting the team on all marketing activities that drive the branded share growth within RPF. You will manage the administrative commercial requirements within the marketing portfolio, whilst gaining exposure to a broad range of projects and opportunities.

This role touches on Brand ownership, Marketing communications, Category, Digital Marketing and Data analytics – as well as being the Champion of Fun for the office.
  

  
What you’ll do

• Manage some simple but exciting NPD projects through our stage gate process and launch into market
• Assist with the development of launch programs for various new products and omni-channel marketing campaigns 
• Support the marketing and brand team of 5 on brand planning requirements to enable the growth of the current portfolio
• Support with day-to-day operations, including tracking & monitoring of marketing budgets and coordination of PO/invoicing process
• Co-ordinate marketing events, sampling, training material as required within the brand team
• With time take ownership of a smaller but highly valuable brands through our stage gate process and launch into market

  

What will help you succeed
  

• Solid Commercial/Marketing experience, ideally within the FMCG industry
• General understanding of Marketing foundations; from brand planning to consumer research, shopper trade activation and creative & content development
• Strong sense of curiosity, proactive attitude and hungry to cement and accelerate their learning & growth
• Excellent communication and strong project management skills are essential

  
Nice to have (but not essential)

• Bachelor degree in business or equivalent
• Digital, social media and influencer experience
