An excellent opportunity for a Retail Pharmacy Stock Management Assistant to join a Brand New store that is about to open in a newly built space that will host one of the biggest Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse stores in NSW.
This magnificent pharmacy development is now almost ready to open its doors to the community is looking for a dynamic and efficient dispensary technician to join their team.
This new pharmacy store will be further supported by one of the largest Medical centres that have ever operated in the district. The premises will offer 50 underground carparks dedicated to Medical and pharmacy operations, and this incredible new health hub is about to change the look and feel of the shopping section of the town, and make headway for a new era of health services in the entire community.
About the role:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Retail Pharmacy Stock Management Assistant.
Your distinguished role will involve providing great customer service to customers as well as playing a key role in helping our retail manager with managing our pharmacy's inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels, and supporting efficient operations. If you are passionate about healthcare and possess strong organisational and communication skills, we want to hear from you!
You will be working alongside and under the supervision of the retail manager and the pharmacist in charge, and during your shift you will be further supported by a dynamic team of additional retail shop assistants.
What we're looking for:
- Pharmacy customer service & front of shop knowledge
- Stock management including: maintaining stock levels, and preventing ‘out of dates.’
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock and manage backorders effectively
- Support the retail manager through the performance of clerical duties in a timely and accurate manner.
- Organise credits for items when necessary and/or specifically directed by the retail manager
- Complete daily KPIs and tasks as required in Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse procedures in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide general administrative support.
- Monitor expiration dates of medications and ensure proper rotation of stock to minimise waste.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to implement inventory control procedures including strategies to optimise stock flow and forecast demand and anticipate inventory needs.
- Utilise the pharmacy management software to track stock movements, generate reports, and analyse trends as required.
- Provide support during inventory counts and participate in periodic stocktaking activities.
- Maintain a clean and organised pharmacy environment, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.
- Flexibility to work a weekend shift if required
