The purpose of this role is to assist in firmly positioning Handpicked and House of Arras globally as a premium wine producer. The role will assist the Marketing Managers in the development, implementation and execution of the global strategic marketing plan for both brands domestically and internationally.
The role will also assist with the entire marketing mix and focus on ensuring long-term business growth and sales conversion. The role aims to drive business growth and brand equity within the premium wine segment, guiding the sales team in validating the existing route-to-market in order to define the best brand strategy for each market to allow targeting the appropriate channels.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Assisting the Marketing Managers in the development of brand strategy and implementation by developing and executing marketing programs that achieve and maintain a competitive advantage in the market, increase brand identity and brand awareness of the company. This includes setting out the most cost-effective strategy to achieve long term objectives.
- Implement plans and initiatives relating to the company brand, customer experience and loyalty in order to drive brand equity. Ensure approval of any brand plans and initiatives by Marketing Managers prior to implementation.
- Assist to develop key team processes to enable optimal transition and positioning of the brand.
- Assist with the identification, evaluation and development of customer segmentation and insights and value propositions (brand and demand) that optimise marketing outcomes.
- Assist in managing customer, consumer and shopper insights in order to:
o Identify key business risks and opportunities
o Translate category insights into local go-to-market plans
o Provide a basis for the sales teams to develop selling stories
- Collaborate with others, such as the Product and Sales team and report on marketing metrics and support revenue growth.
- Understand target markets, audience and how the products or services that are promoted can appeal to our customers.
- Conduct market research and create buyer personas which are essential to determine the best method of engagement with customers
- Work cohesively with Sales to achieve the same goals and revenue growth.
- Support sales in a variety of ways including:
o Creating better leads
o Provide essential data (e.g., latest industrial trend)
o Provide marketing materials that address customer objectives
o Develop content related to the buying cycle
o Motivation and training (promote achievement of targets)
- Portfolio Management and New Product Development (NPD)
- Assess existing product range and develop and implement appropriate product marketing strategies.
- Brand Content & Campaign Management
- Partnerships, Sponsorships, Endorsement
You will need:
- A creative and commercial thinker with a growth-focused mindset and a can-do attitude
- Proven experience of performance analysis, understanding of relevant channels as well as ability to interact with the interfaces
- Organised with impeccable attention to detail, with an ability to anticipate problems and provide suitable solutions.
- Ability to interpret ambiguity and be agile.
- Excellent writing skills
- Up to date knowledge of technology, tools and marketing platforms
- WSET 2 or relevant qualifications is desired
- Luxury products management industry experience is a plus
