Market St Café in the Adelaide CBD has a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Cafe Manager to join our team.
An opportunity exists for the right applicant to join us in our Central Market precinct location. We’re open 6-days a week for breakfast and lunch.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with our broader management team in achieving high levels of customer service, and to contribute to the ongoing success of the brand.
With staff and operations to manage over Breakfast & Lunch, the role requires a hospitality professional with a passion for the industry. This is a hands-on role working alongside the Manager & Chef in the leadership team.
Key Roles & Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Assist with overseeing all front of house operations
- Staff management including rostering, performance management and training
- Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and advocate for quality and consistency through leadership
- Work with broader management team to achieve team oriented KPI’s
Must haves:
- Experience in leading in a cafe environment including managing stock levels and general operations
- Exceptional customer service, barista skills and ability to lead by example
- The ability to communicate effectively, including working closely with the Cafe & Bakery Chefs
- High level of attention to detail and organisation
- Genuine passion for food and beverage industry
