Who We Are
Avia Solutions Group, the world's largest Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance (ACMI) provider, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Skytrans, a renowned regional airline in Queensland. As part of our expansion into the Australian market, we are set to introduce jet operations, starting with the Airbus A320 family of aircraft. This will be in addition to our well established Dash 8 and Caravan operation, servicing remote and regional Queensland as well as the Torres Strait.
Who You Are
You will be a self-motivated individual with previous ICT support experience looking to join a leading aviation company. As the ICT Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of IT help and advice to all levels of employees in the business. This includes face to face within our head office, as well as remote assistance to our outer ports and bases across QLD.
Currently our IT function consists of our ICT Coordinator, so you will need to be comfortable in working in a close knit team and completing a wide range of tasks. You will also help to deliver key projects and outcomes as part of our expansion into jet operations whilst maintaining current business.
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday. Flexible work hours are an option and some on-call work may be included.
What You Will Do:
Reporting to the ICT Coordinator, the role will typically see you:
• Administration of systems including Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Air Maestro
• Maintain the company website
• Provide a wide range of ICT support and advice to up to 200 employees via face-to-face and remote methods:
• Installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of hardware, software and related infrastructure
• Troubleshooting problems, issues and faults, and liaising with providers to resolve them
• ICT purchasing and asset register maintenance
• Assistance with/delivery of projects as required
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of ICT policies and procedures
• Committed to the ongoing improvement and learning in your role to maintain relevant and effective knowledge and skills
• Maintaining an awareness of emerging technologies and trends for potential organisational benefits and an ability to raise with the team
• Occasional travel to other base locations as required
What You Need to Succeed:
• Previous experience using the systems mentioned above (excluding Air Meastro)
• An ability to deliver on the functions of the role as mentioned above
• A positive can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You will be an approachable person with the ability to communicate appropriate help and advice
• Proven ability to build and manage client relationships
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a broader team
• Pass random and routine drug and alcohol screening for employment purposes
• You must be eligible to live and work in Australia as either a citizen or hold the appropriate visa
