- Support the Category Manager in delivering a fully Fruit & Veg range across our differing stores types
- Deliver sales and profit improvement through executing strategic category initiatives and promotional effectiveness
- Manage key strategic Initiatives, as well as deliver targets on sales growth, profitability and market share.
- Understand the supplier base capability and constantly identify opportunities and seek and nurture new supplier relationships which will deliver long term competitive advantage for Woolworths
- Create and develop end to end promotional strategy / plan with data-backed customer insights and through negotiations with suppliers
- Previous experience in Buying, with an emphasis on project management across a number of cross functional initiatives, such as Review and Promotional Strategy
- A broad skill set in increasing sales and profit through implementation of strategic program initiatives
- Analytical skills and understanding of customer insights to make informed decisions
- Demonstrated the ability to negotiate and influence with cross functional and external stakeholders
- Strong supplier engagement and negotiation skills
