The roles, responsibilities and duties of a Security Officer can be performed in many different sectors and varying roles. This Position Description outlines the general duties in line with specific role types and acts as a guide rather than a comprehensive list of tasks.

• EBA Agreement with base rates raging from $36.00 - $57.00 p/h

You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Protect personnel, assets and infrastructure
• Observe all personnel and vehicle traffic in and around the premises
• Follow site operating procedures to protect and deter incidents
• Respond to incidents and prepare written reports
• Interact with key stakeholders including management and emergency services
• Take all reasonably practicable steps to ensure the health and safety of all personnel
• Take control in day-to-day and emergency situations as - First Responders

Skills & experience

• Physically fit and able to walk and stand for prolonged periods
• Full working rights in Australia
• Certificate II and III in Security Operations
• NSW Security Licence Class 1ACEF
• NSW Firearms Licence Category H (Security)
• NSW Firearms Accreditation Certificate
• HOLD First Aid Certificate
• HOLD White Card
• NSW Full Driver’s Licence
