- Assisting the Centre Manager with managing day-to-day operations.
- Providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to our dedicated staff.
- Effectively handling the center's financial requirements in line with budget guidelines.
- Upholding consistent, high-quality standards for centre presentation and work practices.
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality early learning programs by our passionate educators.
- Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with children, families, educators, the local business community, and all stakeholders.
- Actively participating in attracting, converting, and retaining families through effective management of tours, enrolments, and orientation in collaboration with our Enrolments Team.
- Minimum one years' experience mentoring a team as an Assistant Director.
- A sound understanding and application of the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Experience in overseeing and implementing a program based on children's needs and interests.
- A strong understanding of compliance and of National Quality Standards (NQF).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound experience in supporting the staff management of a medium to large childcare service.
- The ability to support and work collaboratively with your team, and assist and support the Centre Director in the general day-to-day running of the service.
- The ability to manage and lead community engagement.
