About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Centre Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of our centre, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all children and staff. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a genuine love for Early Childhood Education.
Your duties will include:
- Supporting the Centre Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate educational programs and activities.
- Mentor staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain open and effective communication with families, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care.
- Assist in managing administrative tasks.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
You will possess:
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Have an understanding of the Assessment and Rating process
- Previous experience in a management or leadership role
- Current Working with Children Check
- Approved qualifications (Cert 3, Diploma or Bachelor)
