Our Hotel
The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney is a Heritage Listed 364 room, five-star classic hotel located between Sydney's best shopping district and the Sydney Opera House.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive and friendly Assistant Concierge to be the face of the hotel and manage the arrival, departure and everything in between experience for our guests. Our dynamic team of Porters rotate through various duties including, but not limited to:
- Welcoming all guests and visitors into the hotel
- Providing quick and efficient service to all guests and visitors
- Responsible to assist in the smooth and efficient shift.
- Supervise the team and task allocation.
- Maintains Concierge duty logbooks and FCS guest requests.
- Assisting concierge to consolidate the end of the month task and reports.
- Assisting with delivering and retrieving luggage
- Luggage store control
- Valet and Self-Parking services
- Directs guests to hotel facilities, events, conferences.
- Recommend local restaurants, café, events.
- Recommend travel and tours.
This role will require the ability to work a 7-day rotating roster including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, public holidays and the occasional overnight shift.
About You
As the Assistant Concierge, you take pride in your ‘can do’ attitude in ensuring that all guests are treated as VIP's.
To be successful in this role you will require:
• The ability to demonstrate and deliver 5-Star service with a Yes I Can attitude
• Excellent personal presentation and communication skills
• Full Drivers Licence required (Manual and Automatic is essential)
• Knowledge of Sydney and surroundings
• Previous experience in a similar role or customer service environment will be viewed favourably

Pay Rates
This is a fulltime position. Our rates are as per the Hospitality Industry General Award. Please see current hourly base rates below:
